Airdrops & Grants

The MOXIE token airdrop is subject to the following terms and conditions, in addition to the general terms and conditions posted on our website:

• Your eligibility to receive MOXIE through the Airdrop is subject to our sole discretion. You can check your eligibility to receive MOXIE through the Airdrop using the link above. Note that MOXIE claimed through the Airdrop can only be claimed before 28 January, 2025.
• You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws of the jurisdiction you reside in or where you are participating in the Airdrop.
• You agree and acknowledge that you were not previously promised any MOXIE tokens, and took no action in anticipation of or in reliance on receiving any MOXIE tokens or participating in an Airdrop. You acknowledge that you did not participate in any program previously conducted by the Moxie Protocol Foundation or by third party, including any program for users to earn “points” or similar rewards, for the purpose of receiving MOXIE.
• You agree not to engage in any activities that that are designed to obtain more Airdrop tokens than you are entitled to, including through the use of bots or other automated devices. You agree to not use a VPN or other tool to circumvent any geoblock or other restrictions that we may have implemented for Airdrop recipients.
• You agree and acknowledge that you are not eligible to participate in the Airdrop if you are a Prohibited Person. You represent that you are the legal owner of the blockchain address that you use to access or participate in the Airdrop and that you are not accessing the Airdrop on behalf of any third party.
• To participate in the Airdrop, you will need to a MOXIE Pass, which is a non-transferrable, soul-bound non-fungible token obtained in Frames on Farcaster. You will also need to connect a compatible third-party digital wallet (“Wallet”), have a Farcaster account and use a Farcaster client (Client) to access the Farcaster Frame used for the Airdrop. These are third-party services, and you are using them under the terms and conditions of the applicable third-party provider. We do not maintain or support the Farcaster Network, or any Client or Wallet. We accept no responsibility or liability to you in connection with your use of the Farcaster Network or any particular Wallet or Client. The private keys necessary to access the assets held in a Wallet are not held by us, and we have no ability to help you access or recover your private keys and/or seed phrases for your Wallet. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your private keys and you are responsible for any transactions signed with your private keys.
• You agree and acknowledge that if you are unable to claim MOXIE due to technical bugs, smart contract issues, gas fees, wallet incompatibility, loss of access to a wallet or the keys thereto, or for any other reason, you will have no recourse or claim against us or our affiliates and that we and our affiliates will not bear any liability.
• You agree and acknowledge that you have the sole responsibility and liability for all taxes in connection with your participation in the Airdrop and your ownership and any eventual sale of MOXIE Tokens, and you should consult a tax advisor.
• You agree and acknowledge that the MOXIE tokens are not deposits of or guaranteed by a bank nor insured by the FDIC or by any other governmental agency, do not represent an ownership interest in the Moxie Foundation or any other entity, and are provided on an on an “AS IS” basis. The MOXIE tokens are a means to participate in the MOXIE protocol, and should not be viewed as an investment or profit-making opportunity.
• We make no representation, warranty, guarantee, or undertaking whatsoever with respect to the MOXIE tokens, including any (i) warranty of merchantability; (ii) warranty of fitness for a particular purpose; or (iii) warranty against infringement of intellectual property rights of a third party; whether arising by law, course of dealing, course of performance, usage of trade or otherwise. You assume all risks and liabilities for the results obtained by the use of MOXIE.
