This yoga class will be 60 minutes of energetically flowing through a variety of postures (asanas). It will start with a short meditation and warm up, focusing on the breath (pranayama). It will then build up through 2-3 flows, followed by extended holds in postures to stretch the connective tissues. The class will end with another short meditation to close the practice. Practitioners should be able to get up and down from the floor in order to participate. Equipment is not required but it can be helpful to have a yoga block, blanket, and yoga strap nearby to assist the practice to your needs.
