Hi Lovely. Stressful work day? Let's wind down so you can keep pushing through the week & reach the weekend! Decrease stress, increase flexibility, improve circulation, & let go of daily stressors for a moment to start improving your well-being & focus on YOU. This Yin style class will be slow-paced, highly relaxing (with use of props), & stretch out those deep, stubborn muscles & tissue that might not typically get attention throughout the day or through a normal vinyasa flow. **Props are highly recommended for this style of yoga because you want to be able to find stillness during longer-held poses for deep breathing & stretching. Props can be anything from a stack of books (please be careful not to slip!) to a rolled up blanket. Anything that will help your body find connection to the ground beneath you! I also want to note that during Yin Yoga, poses are held from 2 to 5 minutes. All poses in this class will be seated or lying down so it definitely won’t be hard!
Blocks and straps if you have them or anything similar! Please be careful when using household items as props and use them at your own risk! Do not feel REQUIRED to use props although if you do not, this flow may not be as relaxing as you wish.
