A relaxing 20 minutes of stress-reducing stretches to help improve your performance in workouts, decrease your risk of injury and to help your joints move through their full range of motion. Stretching on its own is an important component of fitness. Increasing flexibility aids the joints and muscles in reducing tension while decreasing stiffness and improving your posture. As we stretch, we'll focus on the breath to help us ease into every position. Every fitness level can benefit from this class. Finally, this class can be done any time of day either post workout or during a desk break. Please note, it's important to warm-up for about 3-5 minutes before stretching.
A stretch strap, yoga blocks and pillow might be suggested but it is up to you if you want to use any of these items.
