If your body is craving gentle movement and your mind is looking to relax and destress, come give this class a try! We’ll spend this hour unwinding and preparing our mind, body, and soul for relaxation. This class will incorporate 30 minutes of a slower paced vinyasa flow and we’ll end with 30 minutes of restorative yoga poses, inviting a cooling meditative balance to our asana practice. Restorative yoga is essential when feeling overwhelmed, treating trauma and/or stress, and for anyone living with anxiety and depression. We’ll use props such as blankets, blocks, bolsters, straps, paper towel rolls, towels, whatever you have available. This class is to support Black Boys OM, INC. They exist to serve the well-being of Black Boys and Black Men through mindfulness, meditation, and yoga. Read about their mission here:

Equipment Required

2 bed pillows, 1 small blanket, 2 blocks or 2 rolls of toilet paper
