Moving through a flowing series of asanas safely requires integrity of posture. Slowing down the practice allows time to feel your body in space, to modulate your breath, and to focus your mind. The result is a deep sense of joy, peace and empowerment, rather than exhaustion, frustration and discomfort. Moving with grace is beautiful, and fun. Please join me on the mat.
Whereas no equipment is really required, a mat is helpful to keep your feet from slipping, and for defining your own little magic carpet practice area. Some people like to have a yoga block or two handy, and a firm blanket. No problem if you don't have the gear. Just come as you are. Namaste!
