Mat Pilates is a pilates training practice that can be done on a mat. In this class, you hold movements like planks, side planks, and core exercises to build your muscles and core strength. Moving through a series of floor exercises using resistance bands and (optional) Pilates rings, the workout helps build, sculpt and tone these muscles, giving your body a long, lean look. Pilates can aid in flexibility and improving posture, as stretching your body is a vital part of class.
