Pilates Mat class for beginner and intermediate students, based on the teachings of Joseph Pilates. [Will be using hand weights to simulate exercises on both the Pilates Reformer and the Pilates Cadillac.] In this class you will • Focus on form, breathing, alignment, and precision of movement. • Improve your core strength, flexibility, shoulder and hip stability, mind/body connection, and • Experience a great workout! Modifications will be provided.

Equipment Required

1-2 lb hand weights (or equivalent)* , Mat or large beach towel, water, hand towel. *Can be done without weights. Note: 16.9 oz plastic bottle of water is approximately 1 pound.
