This class was formerly know as No Bones About It! The name has changed, but format is still the same. Has your doctor told you that you have osteopenia or osteoporosis? Are you worried about your bone health? Then this is the class for you. This class will help increase bone density. It is a strength class that is primarily an anaerobic activity that uses weights, resistance tools and one’s own body weight to induce muscular contraction, which builds the strength and endurance of muscles. It will also increase metabolism, improve joint function and provide significant functional benefits for improved activities of daily living.

Equipment Required

Hand weights, exercise bands, yoga mat, squeeze ball (or throw pillow)
