CHAIR YOGA +SIT AND FIT: ( 14+beginners/ Seniors) This gentle form of exercise uses a chair as a prop to sit and workout it also gives you support in standing yoga poses for stability and balance. As with traditional classes there is a warmup period consisting of gentle moves and light stretches. This is a great way to stretch upper body along with lower body. I also include core, glutes and balance work. Adding weights and bands to strengthen upper and lower body. This is a great practice for any age along with person having knee and shoulder issues who can’t do regular yoga practice on floor.
Chair (Dining or any flat surface chair without arm rest), yoga block or Barr ball , weights 2/3/5 pounds or 2 water bottles or two food cans, therapy resistance bands ( optional)
