Where West (‘Be Strong’) meets East (‘Qi Gong’) – this class is for advanced travelers on their journey into Lifestyle Medicine and healthy longevity. We start - as always - with breathwork, proceed through our warm-ups, then we advance into a more advanced series of Qi Gong / Tai Chi movements. We’ll cool down together, and stick around to chat if the mood suits us all. ‘Be Strong Qi Gong’ combines ancient Eastern practices with modern Western Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation – otherwise known as ‘PNF.’ This advanced class moves into more complex movements that fall under the PNF category of ‘Bilateral Reciprocal.’ This means all four limbs may follow independent paths. There are more combinations of footwork, and the series can be somewhat challenging. But we deliver it in a light, fun and accessible manner. Most fitness enthusiasts can find success in all three levels of 'Be Strong Qi Gong.' We hope you'll join us. It's always more fun when you're here, too.
